Marla Lee Runyan Marla lee Runyan was born in America in 1969 and became a famous athlete, road runner and marathon runner Who is legally blind. She won the national championship in the women's 5000 meters. She studies at sun Diego university, and began competing in several sporting events such as Heptathlon.200-meter dash, high jump, shot put 100-meter hurdles, long jump, javelin throw and the 800-meter run. In 1994 she received her Master's degree in education of deafblind children. She began her career in able -bodied events in the pan American Games in  1999 and won gold in the 1500 - meter race which ranked the 2 nd in the USA. At Sydney Olympics, making Runyan the first legally blind athlete to  compete in the Olympics and placed the highest finish by an American woman in the event. A  STORY Two university student had a week of exams coming up. They decided enjoying themselves going to parties instead of studding. Their biggest exam was on Wednesday and they told their professor that their car broke down the night before due to a flat tire they had to push the car for several miles. They asked for more time to study. The professor told them that they will have another day to study. That night both the boys crammed all night until they were sure they knew everything arrived at the university next morning. Each boy was told to go to separate class rooms to take the exam.         

THE  POLICE  They do a number of things. When someone does something illegal, the police must investigate. If they find persons responsible for the rime. They arrest them. At the police station, they question the suspects that committed the crimethink then  they are charged with the crime they are believed to have done. The suspects must then go to court for trial. In court, the persons charged with the crime, now called the defendants or accused must try to prove ,that they did not commit the crime; in nether words that they are innocent. The jury listens to all the evidence and then makes their decision.        

THE  SILVER  ROAD Last night I saw a Silver Road  Go straight across the sea; And qui ck as I raced along the shore .  That luck road followed me. It followed me all round the bay. We should never try to be stubborn to our parents. It is a sinful deed .Our parents teach us good moral values and good manners. They try to make us well mannered citizens. STREET  CHIDREN  IN SRI LANKA Social problems are prevailing in every developing Country in Sri Lanka too there are several such  problems. The problem of street children is one of them.   Hundreds of street children can be seen in our papules cities like Colombo,  Kandy and Kurunegala. Most of them are in the age of 5-10 years. The number of street children is increasing day by day. Why have they become street children? This situation has been arisen due to several factors prevailing  in our society. Unemployment ,parental death and illness and acute poverty are some of them. These  factors have paved the way for these children to leave their homes in search of jobs. These children, If  they are left to themselves without the guidance of elders will be a great problem to the society un  future.   PADUWASNUWARA   KINGDOM Paduwasnuwara  is an ancient city in the Kurunegala area which functioned as the capital of sri-lanka for a very brief period. History of paduwasnuwara goes as far back the 6th century.BC ,the time of king panduwasadewa .who is credited with building pandu wewa reservoir around 450BC which is considered the first man made great reservoir in the world.Mahawasama,the great chronicle of sri lanka, recorders that king Mahadathika Mahanaga presenting gifts to a Samanera bhikku of the pandawa vehera.In the 68th chapter king parakramabahu expanding the pandu wewa and  building a three storied palace and a stupa on the island of the pandu  wewa.According to parker, the pandu wewa had extended upto the paduwasnuwara city.

A  Memorable Day in My Life😍 There are so many memorable days in my life, but the day I selected for the university is the most memorable day in my life. I had a great expectation to select for the university. I worked hard to achieve my goal.
